Every summer, Memorial Park transforms into the vibrant, beating heart of Maplewood. Lawn chairs claim their spots on the hill, blanket corners overlap, the scent of local food trucks fills the air, and live music echoes across the park for two unforgettable days. Maplewoodstock isn't just an annual music and arts festival, it's a community tradition that brings thousands of neighbors and music lovers together from towns all across Northern New Jersey.
This year, Maplewoodstock was especially meaningful for our team as RGH Development officially joined the festival family as a first-time sponsor.
Homegrown Roots, Just Blocks Away
For us, being part of Maplewoodstock wasn't just a corporate sponsorship; it was personal. Our office is located just a few short blocks from Memorial Park. We live, work, and build in this community every single day. Walking over to the festival grounds and seeing neighbors, past clients, and friends enjoying the weekend under clear blue skies felt like being in our own backyard.
Our connection to the event ran even deeper this year. A dedicated committee works tirelessly behind the scenes to bring Maplewoodstock to life, including longtime organizer Brad Goldman. Brad also happened to be an RGH client this year and we had recently completed a full renovation of his kitchen and dining room.
We had already toyed with the idea of sponsoring Maplewoodstock, but while collaborating closely with Brad on his home and seeing firsthand how much heart goes into planning the festival, he encouraged us to get involved. Once we saw that passion up close, the decision was effortless: How could we not be part of this?
Showing Up for Maplewood
Seeing the RGH Development brand woven into the festival landscape throughout the weekend was an incredible milestone for our team:
Stage Presence: Our logo was featured prominently along the stage banners, sharing space with the festival lineup while regional and national acts performed throughout the weekend.
On the Grounds: RGH flags were staked across the park, standing tall among the food vendors, artisan booths, and picnic blankets.
The Festival Guide: We were thrilled to secure the back cover of the official Maplewoodstock event program, the complete guide and artist schedule delivered to households across the community and held in the hands of festivalgoers all weekend long.
A Weekend with Family and Neighbors
Beyond the banners and logos, the best part was simply being there. Our Project Manager, Ryan, spent the weekend on site with her family, soaking in the festival atmosphere, catching the performances, and connecting with familiar faces in the crowd.
Between the live sets, the vibrant artist market, the local food vendors, and picture-perfect festival weather, it captured everything that makes Maplewood such a special place to call home.
"Building spaces people love is what we do on the job - supporting the community events that bring those same people together is what makes it truly rewarding."
To Brad, the entire volunteer organizing committee, and everyone who stopped by or waved hello: thank you for welcoming RGH Development to the Maplewoodstock stage. We’re proud to build here, and we can’t wait to see you on the hill next summer!
